Family Math

Parents, grandparents, and other family members are welcome to join us this Thursday afternoon for our first “Family Math” event of the school year. Guests are asked to arrive via the front doors and to wait outside until an announcement is made. At approximately 2:15 there will be an announcement over the PA that our Family Math will be starting, then students will join family members to play math games or do math activities all over the school –classrooms, the library, the hallways (there will be mats out), the gym, the multi-purpose room, and the staff room. Students are asked to pick a spot right away and stay there until an announcement is made (approximately 2:40) asking them to return to their classrooms. Dismissal will follow the usual routine at 2:48. Some primary classrooms may need to make adaptations to best meet the needs of their students and families - please be on the lookout for any specific instructions from your child’s teacher.
