The Keating Parents’ Advisory Council is proud to organize a Keating Elementary team for the Thrifty Foods Kids Run! This is a 1 km fun run for kids age 12 and under taking place on Saturday, October 11, 2025. The run starts and ends at Willows Beach Park in Oak Bay.

 

Race sponsors are awarding cash prizes worth up to $750 to the elementary school teams with the largest number of registrants or most school spirit! The prize money can be used by the PAC towards playground and recreational equipment for the school.

 

The entry fee is $25 until Oct. 1 or $30 from Oct. 2-10 (plus service fee) with proceeds going towards KidsSport Greater Victoria. Each registered kid will receive a medal, a draw string bag and a swag item. Parents are welcome to run alongside their children at no additional cost.

Register by October 1 to have your race bag delivered to the school in advance of the run and save $5 on the entry fee. Those who register after October 1 will have to arrive early on the morning of the run to pick up their race bags.
